Welcome to the latest challenge at Challenges by AR. This is Lisa E. hosting the Fall/Halloween theme challenge.

Welcome to the latest challenge at Challenges by AR! This is Lori and it’s my turn to issue the new challenge theme.

I’m a big sports fan (you probably know that if you read my blog!), and I’m so excited about the arrival of the fall sports season. With that in mind, my challenge is “Something Sporty.” Create a shaped card or 3D project with that theme in mind. You can find some great ideas to get you started at Creations by AR, but you’re not limited to using one of Adela’s templates for the challenge. Play along with us to be entered to win your choice of one of Adela’s templates.

Here’s mine. I used the Pillow Box Hanger template as part of a gift ensemble for a coach.

This is Lyn Bertanovich’s creation using the Bag It template. How cute is that football playing moose image?

This one is Maria Levine’s, using the Take Out Pizza gift card holder template. She used a great masculine color scheme for her project.

This is Lisa Somerville’s creation made with the Sneakies template. Just look at that fabulous flower embellishment!

And, this is Lisa Eisner’s, made with the ice skate digi image. Love how she altered the image to make a box!

This one is Vicki Garrett's, made with the A Wallet Just for Him template. What an adorable presentation for a gift card!

Summer Bliss with a Slice of Orange! (AR-072811)

Welcome to Challenges by AR!! I'm so excited to be part of the Challenge Team and even more excited to present our second challenge, "Summer Bliss with a Slice of Orange." I love the word "bliss" and orange happens to be my current favorite color and it is the height of summer here in Central New York with simply gorgeous weather.

If you'd like to participate in this challenge, all you need to do is create a 3D project or shaped card incorporating the "Summer Bliss with a Slice of Orange" theme. You can use a freebie from Creations by AR or use one of your own templates.

Here is mine!!

For my project, I used the Peek-A-Boo Case template from Creations by AR and altered it into a diorama to use as a seasonal display. I added tiny wood bead feet that were colored with Copics. After stamping my image with Stayz-On onto an acrylic piece, I affixed it to the inside of the punched opening. The photo of my recent vacation to Myrtle Beach is affixed to the box bottom.

Hi Girls.. I was so excited to see all the projects you did with the Wild Print Theme I chose for this challenge.. I really love everything but we had to have one winner and the winner is "My Creative Corner" We all love this project so Lolis please email Adela with the two template choices !!! The last 24 hours has been a nightmare for me -- which you can read about on my blog -- so tonight I wanted to share with you something really quick and easy. Fifteen minutes was all it took for me to make this "wild" Gift Card Purse! Really.... it was that fast and easy! Anyway, I thought I'd share it with you, being that I've used a wild print!

Angel Bag

The challenge this week is to make a 3D Project or Shaped Card using a Wild (Animal) Print. The print I'm using in this project is actually paw prints of a dog, but if you knew our 12 year old "Angel," you'd say she was "WILD," so hopefully this qualifies.

Angel's been sick this past year and I just had to make something that honored her, so I made a digital stamp and a cutting file of our Shiba Inu. Our family loves her so much, and I know she probably doesn't have much time left, poor thing. Anyway, here's a bag I made using the Bag It template and my new Angel Puppy cutting file and digital image set.

Thanks for the entries we've received so far for our first challenge. I really enjoy looking at all the projects you've submitted and looking forward to seeing more. Have a great Sunday, everyone!
